CRAMER RITES HERE SATURDAY
Ernest Cramer, 69, died a 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of his son, Earl Cramer, living four and one-half miles north of Blairsburg. He had been visiting at the home of his son, and his death was sudden, due to a heart attack. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Congregational church in Webster City preceded by a brief service at 1 p.m. at the home, 1115 Funk Street. The Rev. S.T. Lenter and the Rev. Preston Hinderks of Iowa Falls will officiate with burial in Graceland cemetery. Foster funeral home in charge.
Ernest Cramer, son of Jelske and Henrietta Cramer, was born May 4, 1884, on a farm in Wall Lake township, Wright county. He was reared and educated in Wright county. He was united in marriage Jan. 21, 1915 to Cleo Chapman. They farmed in Wright county for six years then moved to Hamilton county to a farm near Blairsburg. They farmed there until three years ago when they retired and purchased their present home at 1115 Funk street.
Mr. Cramer is survived by his wife and two sons, Charles and Earl, both of Blairsburg; one grandson, Willie Cramer; four brothers and three sisters, Herman and John Cramer, both of Clarion; Jelske Cramer of Blairburg, Ray Cramer of Clarion; Mrs. Harry (Theresa) Heikens of Spencer; Mrs. Jerdon (Maggie) Groenewold of Everly, Iowa, and Mrs. Joe B. (Della) Lloyd of Clarion, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, who died in infancy, and three sisters. He was a member of the Congregational church at Webster City.
