MRS. J. W. DISHON RITES HELD MONDAY

Mrs. James (Millie) Dishon, 86, died Thursday night at a Mason City hospital after a brief illness. She was a resident of Northwood for many years. She was born Feb 24, 1875 in Goldfield, Iowa, to John and Rebecca Snider, and was married to James W. Dishon at Clarion in 1901. Her husband died in 1957. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Ruth) Perry, and Mrs. Lloyd (Marie) Dahle, Mason City; four sons Ralph, Northwood; Cecil, Albert Lea; Elmer, Renner, Minn., and James D. of Mason City; also 15 grandchildren and several great-children. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the Bakke Funeral home on Monday with burial at Sunset Rest cemetery. The Rev. Oscar Mikkelson officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. Whitney Randall, organist, and Mrs. Vernon Thompson and Mrs. Myrl Stahl, vocalists. Pallbearers were W. W. Hudson, Wendell Watts, Howard Erdmann, W. G. Estes, Kentar Cottingham and Sylvan Bakken.
