Mrs. Charles Rygh, 56, Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Mabel Halverson Rygh, 56, wife of Charles Rygh, died suddenly at her home northwest of Sheridan at 6 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the home at 1 p.m. and at 2 at the Baker Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Freedom cemetery [Wedron, Illinois].

Mrs. Rygh was one of 12 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Isabelle and Cornelius Halverson. She was born in Goldfield, Ia., May 20, 1891. She was united in marriage with Charles Rygh Dec. 26, 1912. Six children were born to this marriage. She was preceded in death by a son, Lorin, and a child in infancy. Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Iva Tuntland of Leland, Mrs. Dorothy Parks of Waterman, Evelyn at home, and a son, Everett, also at home; five sisters, Mrs. Nellie Hatland, Mrs. Camilla McCutcheon, Mrs. Lillian Harvey, all of Fort Dodge, Ia., Mrs. Laura McCutcheon of Denver, Col.; three brothers, Edward of Jewell, Ia., Guy of Fort Dodge, Ia., and Dale of Humboldt, Ia.
