Funeral services for Mrs. W. N. [William Nelson] White of Wall Lake township were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bethel church, being conducted by her former pastor Rev. E. E. Heltibridle of Grundy Center. Interment was in Clarion Evergreen cemetery.

Mary Kate Martin was born in Ireland on March 29, 1870. At the age of 18 years, she came to America settling in Chicago. On January 10, 1893, she was united in marriage to W. N. White of that city. To this union were born three children: Lewis N. of Galt and Moses S. and Olive B., who are still at home. In 1896 deceased came to Iowa with her family and resided many years in this locality. She departed this life on April 21, 1934, being 64 years and 28 days of age.

Mrs. White was a kind and loving wife and mother. She was a patient sufferer for thirteen years, seldom complaining. She had faith in her God, it was His will. She loved her home and family. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her immediate family two grandchildren, Carol and Betty White and a host of friends.
