ALGONA, IA - Funeral service for Frank Steffen, 86, will be at 10 a.m. today (Thursday, July 18, 2002) at Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home in Algona, with visitation an hour prior to services. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Algona, with the Rev. Phil Webb officiating. Frank was born on Feb. 25, 1916, in Blair, Neb., to Julius and Anne Buschelman Steffen. He served in the United States Army during World War II, discharged in December 1945. He was a laborer in the Renwick, LuVerne, Irvington and Algona areas. Frank died at his home in Algona on Thursday, July 11.
