Maxine Kielsmeier, 75, of Iowa Falls, died Saturday from lupus. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Alden, with the Rev. Richard Layman officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memory Gardens in Iowa Falls. Maxine Kielsmeier was born March 30, 1926, in Rowan, the daughter of Byrd and Daisy (Lawrence) Silvey. She graduated from Alden High School in 1943. She worked as a telephone operator with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Iowa Falls. She married Marlyn Henry Kleismeier Nov. 4, 1949, in Iowa Falls. The couple farmed near Buckeye, retiring in 1985. She is survived by her husband; three sons, James of Alden, Jerry of Dysart and Jeffrey of Alden; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Tinceoline Ziesman of Iowa Falls. She was preceded in death by six brothers. Visitation will be at Linn's Funeral Home in Iowa Falls from 2 to 8 p.m. today with the family present between 6 and 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Marlyn Kielsmeier, 2304 Ellis Ave., Iowa Falls, 50126.
