Gary "Pete" Lee Stuck, 66, of Sheldahl, died Sunday of heart failure at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater, with the Rev. Steve Ransom officiating. Burial will be in Sheldahl Cemetery.

Gary "Pete" Lee Stuck was born Dec. 16, 1935, in Galt , the son of William F. and Lillian (Azeltine) Stuck. He married Nancy Holtkamp June 8, 1958, in Webster City. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service for 19 years. He retired in 1981. He was a member of Sheldahl United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Operative Masonic Lodge, Polk City No. 308, and the Polk City Order of Eastern Star No.361.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Belinda Ruggieri of Johnston, Lorraine "Lorri" Lester of Slater and Sheila Stuck of Slater; one brother, William G. Stuck of Dows; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater, with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Central Head Injury of Iowa. Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater is in charge of arrangements.
