Julie M. Wilson, 45, of Hutchinson, Kansas, died on Friday, December 23, 2011, at the Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson. Funeral services were held on Friday, December 30, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, with Reverend Pat Ault-Duell officiating.

Julie Marie was born on October 23, 1966 in Waterloo, to Ron and Wilma (Schmidt) Frost. She graduated from the Don Bosco High School in Gilbertville in 1985 and from the University of Northern Iowa in 1989, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She married Brian Wilson, a 1984 Belmond High graduate. Julie was a second grade teacher at the Buhler Grade School from 1990-2011. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ron and brother, Mark. Survivors include her husband, Brian; daughter, Kayci; mother, Wilma Frost of Gilbertville; sisters, Lori Frost of North Liberty, Kim Fischels of Elk Run Heights, Deb Schultz of Waterloo and Michelle Stroh of Gilbertville; brother, Greg Frost of Dysart; and mother and father-in-law, Robert and Sonia Wilson of Iowa City. Memorials may be made to Victory in the Valley or Cancer Council of Reno County in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, 67501.
