Alice M. Larson, 82, Council Bluffs, died Sunday, Feb., 28, 1999, at the IHS Nursing Home, Council Bluffs. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Russell pastor of Mt. Hope Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Vincent. Visitation will be from 8 a.m to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include daughter Phyllis Sharp, Underwood, son Eugene, Palmdale, Calif., five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Mildred Blomker, Rutland, and Shirley Benda, Tempe, Ariz.; Brothers Emil Porter, Imperial Valley, Calif., Russell Porter, Cincinnati, Ohio and Francis Porter, Eagle Grove.

Alice M. Porter was born in Loogootee, Ind. She married Harold Larson. He died in 1975. She was a nurse at Hawthorne Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Hope Methodist Church, McCleland, the Ladies Circle, and AARP.
