NORTHWOOD, IA - Larry L. Hull, 58, of Northwood died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at his home in Northwood. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011, at Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 E. Spring St., Manly, with the Rev. Mark Dobel officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Should friends desire, memorials may be left in Larry's name in care of his daughter, Amanda Janeka.

Larry Lee Hull was born on May 16, 1953, in Charles City, the son of Wayne Eugene and Betty Lou (Eikenberry) Hull. He attended Charles City High School. In 1980 Larry was united in marriage to Rebecca Hagen; this union would be blessed with four children. For many years Larry worked construction, building and repairing homes and businesses. He was very dedicated and devoted to his craft. In his free time he enjoyed watching movies, going for walks, fishing and was an animal lover. Larry loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a family man through and through. He had a kind heart and a caring soul. Larry was a former member of the Church of Christ in Clarion before he moved to Northwood.

Those grateful in sharing in his life are his mother and stepfather, Betty and Cliff Abrams, Apache Junction, Ariz.; his children, Larry (Teresa) Hull, Eagle Grove, and Amanda (Jamie) Janeka, Northwood; his grandchildren, Jaidyn Hull, Brandi Neve, Marcus Hull, and Carmen and Angel; his siblings, Andrew Griffin, Peggy Wells, Douglas Griffin, Wayne E. (Kim) Hull, Jr., Coletta (Charlie Tripp) Hull and Tim Hull; his stepmother, Arlene Hull; his step-siblings, Raelene (John) Maas, Julie (T.J.) Schendel, Rick Nystel, Jerry Abrams, Sue Abrams and Linda Abrams and Mary Abrams; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, others relatives and many friends. Larry is preceded in death by his father; his daughter, Janice Hull; his son, Marcus Hull; his previous wife, Becky (Hull) Pierce; his brothers, Ronald Wayne Hull and Bryan Hull; his maternal grandmother, Harriet Holzer; and his special friend, Cindy Cabrera. Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 E. Spring St., Manly.
