August 7, 1902 --- February 10, 1986

Humboldt, IA - L. Pearl Christensen Kramer, 83, Humboldt, died Wednesday at Harlingen, Texas, where she was spending the winter. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Humboldt. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Webster City. Friends may call at the Lindhart Funeral Home, Humboldt, after 2 p.m. Sunday.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence; son, Lyle Christensen, Eagle Grove; daughters Ardys L. Askelson, Indian Hills, Colo., Shirley J. Congour, Mission, Kan., Bonnie E. McMichael and Beryl E. Stewart, both of Chula Vista, Calif.,; stepchildren, Dale Kramer, Humboldt, and Ruth Petersen, Gray; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Pearl Burnett was born in Ford County, Ill. She moved with her parents to Webster City when she was a child. She graduated from Webster City high school. She taught school in the area and was married to Harry Christensen in 1922. They farmed near Webster City and then Eagle Grove. He died in 1962. She married Clarence Kramer in 1965. They lived on a farm in Beaver Township in Humboldt County. They moved to Humboldt in 1971. She was an official flower show judge at the county and state fairs, a member of the Humboldt and Eagle Grove garden clubs, and a member of the Evergreen Sporting Association.
