September 25, 1925 -- January 12, 1993

Marion C. Leeper, 67, Kamrar, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1993 following a farm tractor accident near Webster City. Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Faith United Methodist Church, with Gerald Caquelin officiating and burial at Cass Center Cemetery. Friends may call at Foster's Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Thursday until 9:30 a.m. Friday when the casket will be taken to the church.

Marion Clinton Leeper, the son of Clinton and Cora (Hims) Leeper, was born Sept. 25, 1925 at Mound City, Mo. The family moved to Blairsburg and he was educated there. Mr. Leeper worked on a farm near Eagle Grove for several years. On July 5, 1941 he married Shirley Newman at Mound City. For 32 years, Mr. Leeper was employed at Forrestor's Dairy in Webster City. He also owned and operated Leeper Tree Service for 30 years. For many years, Mr.Leeper also served as herdsman and farmed for Mary Helen Severson near Webster City.

Survivors include: his wife, Shirley, of Kamrar; one daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Delbert Fiebiger, Fort Dodge; one son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Marlene Leeper, Webster City; five grandchildren, Michelle Crapser, Wendy Kretzmann, Della Fiebiger and Mark and Chad Leeper; one great-granddaughter, Emily Crapser; a sister, Mabel Leeper, California; a brother, Jess Leeper, Moorland; and a half-brother, Jeff Goldsberry, Kirkland, Ill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Clyde and Ralph Leeper.
