RICEVILLE, IA - Dorothy V. Duffy, 87, of Clarion, died Wednesday (Sept. 2, 1998) at Howard County Regional Health Services. Family graveside services were held Thursday at the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, with the Rev. Edythe Hill officiating. Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, was in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy V. Duffy was born July 29, 1911, at LeRoy, Minn. Survivors include her children, Donna McFarlane, of Willard, Wis.; Dorothy Sanchy, of Fremont, Calif.; LeRoy Duffy, of Charles City; Gary Duffy, of Riceville; and Robert Duffy, of Oakland, Calif.; along with her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and one daughter.
