Mrs. Maggie Dunfee, 87, died Tuesday evening at the Old Colony Rest Home. A resident of Lyle Township, she is survived by a daughter Mrs. Eva Dunfee, Corwith, Iowa; two sons, Erwin Farrell, Marseilles, Ill., Raymond Farrell, Lyle; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon.

Maggie Louise Dunfee was born June 16, 1874 at Lamark, Ill., the daughter of James Deibler and Kristiana Meyers Deibler. As a child she moved from Illinois to Corwith, Iowa. She attended school there and in 1919 moved to Lyle where she made her home until the time of her death. In September 1895 she married Samuel Peter Farrell and three children were, Eva, Erwin, and Raymond. Mr. Farrell died March 3, 1903. On July 3, 1907 she married David Shannon Dunfee at Algona, Iowa, and he preceded her in death May 28, 1954.

Mrs. Dunfee died May 22 at Austin after being ill four years. She is survived by three children, Mrs. E. Dunfee, Corwith, Erwin G. Farrell, Marseilles, Ill., S. Raymond Farrell, Lyle, two daughters-in-law, 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a sister, Miss Hattie Deibler, Granville N.D.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. May 25 at the Worlein Funeral Home, Rev. Gordon Wedland officiating. Interment was at Woodbury Cemetery. Out of town persons attending the funeral came from Granville, N.D., Ottawa, Marseilles, Ill., Rockey Ford, Colo., Waterloo, Corwith, Sheldon, Miller, Britt, Clear Lake, Kanawha, Iowa, Lyle, London, Oakland.
