Leila Lucille Wilson, 92, of Yakima died Monday at Willow Springs Care Center. Mrs. Wilson was born and raised in Corwith, Iowa. She lived in Branson, Mo., for some time, and then moved to Yakima. She lived at Willow Springs for the past 14 years. Survivors include seven grandchildren, Tony Walker, Lanette Headley and Mike Wilson of Yakima, Don Walker and Lori Walker of Texas, Robbie Wilson of Auburn, Wash., and Tina Sali of Portland; and 11 great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held Saturday. Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

YAKIMA - Leila Lucille Wilson, 92, a longtime Yakima resident, passed away Monday, September 4, 2006, at Willow Springs Care Center. Leila was born June 22, 1914, at Corwith, Iowa, to Frank and Glo (Beaman) Clapsaddle. She was raised and educated in Corwith, where she met her husband Martin C. Wilson. The couple was married January 3, 1933, at Branson, Missouri. They lived in Branson for some time, and then moved to Yakima. Leila worked as a cook at St. Elizabeth Hospital until she retired. She loved cooking for her family and playing board games and Yahtzee.

Survivors include seven grandchildren, Tony Walker, Lanette Headley and Mike Wilson, all of Yakima, Don Walker and Lori Walker both of Texas, Robbie Wilson of Auburn, and Tina Sali of Portland, Oregon; and eleven great grandchildren. Leila was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin Wilson on May 29, 1992; by a son Donald Wilson and a daughter, Barbara Walker.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2006. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.
