Services for Donald L. Riggle, 60, of Wauconda for 16 years, will be held on Saturday in Corwith, Iowa. Born in Corwith, Dec. 22, 1936, he died Sunday, March 16, 1997, at his home. Burial will be in Corwith Cemetery in Corwith. A Worldwide Systems Engineer for Motorola for 18 years, he was a 25 year Army veteran during the Vietnam War, retiring with the rank of Sgt. Major E-9. He was the husband of Linda (Nee Peterson); the father of Vivien of Charlotte Harbor, Fla., Nadine Gathercole of Fair Bluff, N.C., Steven (Kelly) of Hoffman Estates, Daphne L. Rognstad of Wauconda, Diane (Dan) Brown of Murray, Ky., Gina Diaz and David (Michelle) Currie both of Trevor, Wis; the brother of Luella (Red) of Oklahoma and Rosemary (Eugene) Pratt of Panama City, Fla.; and the grandfather of nine. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, Illinois.
