BELMOND, IA -- Leroy Green, 77, died Friday (Jan. 24, 1997) at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. JoAnn Lent Skyrme officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery with full military rites provided by the Belmond Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Dugger Ewing Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Leroy Green was born March 1, 1919 in Belmond. Survivors include his wife, Edna, of Belmond; one daughter, Lynne Luden of St. Louis, Mo.; one son, Paul Green of Storm Lake; three sisters, Deloris Robbins and Marcella Cunningham, both of Goodell, and Betty Barkema of Belmond; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
