BELMOND, IA -- Clara Belle Larson, 79, passed away Friday (Jan. 17, 1997) at the Belmond Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Dugger Ewing Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Fineran officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and one hour prior to services Monday.

Clara Belle Prouty Larson was born April 19, 1917 at Webster City. Survivors include her husband, Jim Larson of Belmond; two daughter, Mary Ausborn of Ames and Ruth Larson of Belmond; one son, Arthur Larson of Sacramento, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Maureen Gow of Wilton, Calif., and Florence Prouty of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
