CLARION, IA -- Peter J. Paulsen, 75, of Clarion, died Thursday (Oct. 10, 1996) at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Stuart Brantley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, with military honors by the Clarion American Legion and the Clarion VFW. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Willim Funeral Home. Peter J. Paulsen was born July 28, 1921, at Hayfield. Survivors include his wife, Anna, of Clarion; one daughter, Carolyn Wiele of Chariton; three sons, Roger of Garner; Ron of Macomb, Ill., and Russ of Sandy, Utah; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Joyce Kearns of Eugene, Ore. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
