June 17, 1913 -- February 27, 1998

MASON CITY — Mary F. Buck, 84, of Mason City, formerly of Portland, died Friday (Feb. 27, l998) at the Willow Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street N.E., with the Rev. Michael Schueller of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mary F. Buck was born June 17, 1913, in Kanawha, to Jim and Vera (Markoff) Siskow. Mary grew up in Mason City and graduated from Mason City High School in l930. She married Raymond D. Buck on August 6, 1933, in Nashua. Mary enjoyed gardening, fishing and being outdoors. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Buck, Mason City; one son, Robert R. Buck, and his wife, Jane, Bloomington, Minn.; three grandchildren, Steven Buck of Lakeville, Minn., Robert R. Buck of Burnsville, Minn., and Julie Bernick of Savage, Minn.; one sister, Pauline Morse, Denver, Colo.; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
