KANAWHA, IA - Vivian M. Wicks, 83, of Kanawha, died Tuesday (Sept. 1, 1998) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Kanawha Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Keith Sievers officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Ewing-Dugger Funeral Chapel, Kanawha and one hour prior to services at the church.

Vivian M. Wicks was born Nov. 30, 1914, in Des Moines. Survivors include her husband, Herbert Wicks, of Kanawha; three daughters, Bernadine Burke, of Tucson, Ariz.; Deanna Heintz, of Cedar Rapids; and Joan Housh, of Urbandale; one son, Leif Wicks, of Fullerton, Calif.; two sisters, Iliah Sorenson and Vera Abbas, both of Kanawha; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant twin sisters.
