STAR, Idaho -- Jesse J. Haldeman, 67, of Star, and formerly of McCall, died Monday, Oct. 12, 1987, South of Donnelly of natural causes. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15, in the Star Cemetery, with Rev. Donald Brown officiating, under direction of the Heikkila Funeral Chapel, McCall.
Mr. Haldeman was born Sept. 20, 1920, at Williams, Iowa. He came to Idaho at the age of seven. He was reared and educated at Buhl, Idaho. He married Barbara Green on March 21, 1940, at Elko, Nev. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. They moved to Lakefork, Idaho in 1948, where they operated the Lakefork Merc for 10 years. He then was a partner in the Haldeman-Williams Construction Co. until his retirement in 1982. For the past few years they had lived at Star.
Survivors include his wife Barbara of Star; a daughter, Judy Caskey of Roseville, Calif.; a son, Jerry of Caldwell; two brothers, Sheldon of McCall, and Clyde of Donnelly; three sisters, Florence Peterson of Hector, Minn., Mary Hansen of Redmond, Calif., and Ruth Krannichfeld of McCall; and eight grandchildren. His parents, and a sister died earlier.
