25 March 1906 -- 2 January 1996

Clyde Henry Haldeman, 89, of Donnelly, Idaho died Tuesday, Jan. 02, 1996, at home of natural causes. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 06, at Holmes Cemetery near Donnelly. The Rev. Tom Penry will officiate. Services are under direction of the Heikkila Funeral Chapel, McCall.

Clyde was born March 25, 1906, at Webster City, Iowa. He was reared and educated in Iowa. He moved to Buhl, Idaho, in 1924 and farmed. He married Opal Diggs on Nov. 25, 1939, at Elko, Nev. They moved to Donnelly that year. Clyde worked for the railroad. Later they moved to Adrian, Ore., where Clyde worked for the J. C. Watson Co. for 17 years. They returned to Donnelly and Clyde worked for the Forest Service until his retirement in the 1970's. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Clyde is survived by his wife Opal of Donnelly; a daughter and son-in-law, Ethel and Rick Fields of New Meadows; two grandchildren, Bobbie Jo and Jo Ann Fields of New Meadows, a sister, Ruth Krannichfeld of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
