Florence Eva Wiles, 105, of La Crosse, WI died Sunday, March 9th in La Crosse. She was born January 16, 1898 in Klemme Iowa to Phillip and Sarah Behringer. She married Howard M. Wiles who died in 1986. A resident of Waukesha, WI and Colorado Springs, CO for most of her life, she was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Waukesha and a member of PEO since 1942. Survivors include 2 grandchildren, Ward M. (Patty) Brown, M.D. of La Crosse and Sarah Bess (Gregg) Lagan, DVM of Des Moines, IA; 5 great-grandchildren, Callie, Dane and Trent Brown and Gregory and Marjorie Lagan. Preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Mae (Brown) McCormick in 1988 and 2 great-grandchildren Blair and Anna Brown. A memorial service to be held on Tuesday, March 11th at 2:00 PM at English Lutheran Church, 16th and King Sts. La Crosse. Memorials preferred to PEO Chapter House, 1819 W. Cheyenne Rd. Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
