Ervin L. Muhlenbruck, 82, of Latimer, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at the Mercy Medical Center in Mason City. Funeral services were held Friday, June 23, at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Latimer and burial was at St. Paul's Cemetery. Ervin was born December 19, 1927, the son of Dick and Emma (Freie) Muhlenbruck near Latimer. On April 8, 1941, he was united in marriage to Marian M. Schumacher. Ervin was inducted in to the Army where he served 3 1/2 years overseas in Normandy, France and England. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter; three sisters, Tillie Plagge, Lydia Klunder, and Alberta Muhlenbruch; four brothers, Alva, Harry, Lloyd and Bernard. He is survived by his wife Marian of Latimer; son Ronnie of Clear Lake; grandchildren Laura and Russell of Columbia, MO; and sisters, Dorothy Rasmussen of Sheffield and Agnes Lage of Meservey.
