Wayne H. Wolf, 74, died at his home in Dawson, MN on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, after battling leukemia for 1 1/2 years. Funeral services were held August 5 at Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson. Wayne Herbert Wolf was born in Armstrong on December 25, 1925, to Herbert and Ruth (Ammons) Wolf. After graduation from the Armstrong High School, he attended Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, graduating from there with a chemistry degree. He worked for General Mills in the laboratory in Belmond, where he met his wife, Grace Landon. They were married in March 10, 1950. To this union, four children were born. They lived in Bowling Green, Rossford, and Perrysburg, Ohio; also Boone, Iowa and Dawson, MN. Wayne was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years; and loved photography and golfing. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his wife, Grace of Dawson; son Tim of Milwaukee, WI, and Brian of Wooster, Ohio; daughters, Susan Roisen of Dawson and Cynthia Gilman of Poulsbo, WA; 11 grandchildren; and two sisters.
