Andrew J. Miller died October 7 at the Belmond Hospital. Services will be Tuesday, October 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial at the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Tenold Funeral Home and one hour prior to services.

Andrew "Andy" James Miller, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at the Belmond Medical Center. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belmond, with Pastor Rod Hopp officiating. Interment was at Belmond Cemetery.
Music was provided by Eldoris Bunnell, organist; Dustin Nelson, vocalist. Ushers were Roger Boelman and Doug Thompsen. Honorary casket bearers were Dyann Butcher, Bryan Brandow, Natasha Nelson, Sandy Orton, Rachel Raishe, Irene Brandow, Leland Bingaman, and Dustin Nelson. Casket bearers were Mark Miller, David Bingaman, Matt Miller, Scott Bingaman, Nick Nelson, and Ken Bingman.

Andrew James Miller, the son of Ova and Rosa (Pratt) Miller was born May 7, 1917, at Green City, MO. He was united in marriage to Reba Smedley on December 24, 1938. He was a truck driver until moving to a farm northwest of Belmond in 1942. He worked for and rented from Harold C. Simerson. In 1958 they moved to Missouri for two years, returning to Belmond in 1960. Andy started auctioneering; became co-owner of the Belmond Sales Pavillon; sold Pioneer Seed for 22 years; had a bull rental service; and was an instructor at the auction school at Mason City for 28 years. Andy was baptized in the Church of Christ; was a member of the Clarion Church of Christ for 30 years; and in later years he attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Belmond. He was active in the Odd Fellows Lodge, member of the Belmond Area Arts Council, was active in the Prairie Homestead Antique Power and Country Craft Show, was a member of Maytag Collectors, delivered Meals on Wheels, and was a hospital volunteer.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Glen, Adrian and Dwight. Survivors are his wife Reba of Belmond; daughter and son-in-law, Iola and Richard Brandow of Moberly, MO, and their children, Dyann Butcher Sandy Orton, Irene Brandow, Brian Brandow and Rachel Raishe; daughter and son-in-law, Ilene and Roy Bingaman of Sedalia, MO, and their children, Ken, David, Scott and Leland Bingaman; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Nancy Miller of Nevada and their children, Mark and Matt Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dave Nelson of Belmond, and their children, Nick, Natasha, and Dustin Nelson; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Kiger of Milan, MO; and a brother, JW Miller of Huntsville, MO.
