30 January 1911 -- 22 February 1917

Thursday morning at 8 o'clock, Clayton, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. George Patterson, passed away after a two week's illness of pneumonia. The funeral services were held at the church Sunday at 11 o'clock and were conducted by Miss Brosius. The church was filled with sorrowing friends who extend to the family their deepest sympathy, to the bereaved parents, the brother and sister and other relatives. The pall bearers were Chester McLeod, Maxfield Potter, Glen Simpson, and Charles Steenblock. Clayton Doan Patterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Patterson of Galt, Ia., was born near Galt, Jan. 30, 1911 and died Feb. 22, 1917, aged six years and 23 days. He was loved by all who knew him and a host of friends and relatives join in the sorrow of the bereaved family. He leaves his parents, one brother and one sister, besides other relatives to mourn.
