Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dunn's Funeral Home on Grand Avenue for Charles R. Storey, 80, of 3401 S.W. Twenty-fourth St., who died of a heart attack at his home Thursday. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Born in Webster City, Mr. Storey lived in Des Moines since 1912. He was retired president of the Storey-Kenworthy Co. He was a charter member and one of the first deacons of Wakonda Christian Church, and was a member of Auburn Lodge, the Executive Association, Pioneer Club and the Historical Society of Iowa. He was a thirty-second degree Mason in the Des Moines Consistory and was a Kentucky Colonel, an honorary title. Survivors include his wife, Ilo; three sons, Charles E. and Ralph, both of Des Moines, and Arthur D. of Madrid; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the Wakonda Christian Church.
