7 March 1849 -- 29 January 1941

Mary A., daughter of Julia and James Kepler was born in Juniata County, Thompsontown, Pennsylvania, March 7, 1849 and passed away at her home in Leon, Iowa, January 29, 1941 at the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 22 days; the last of a family of eleven children. She was united in marriage to Francis Dingman in Atkinson, Illinois, November 21, 1870. To this union 9 children were born, Jasper, Bertha, Grace, Ira, and her aged companion have preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her departure Marion of Garden Grove, Charles of Des Moines, Vern A. of Decatur, Mrs. Anna Brennen and Mrs. Robert Bright of Leon, a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. V. Hart of the Christian church and held at the Slade Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1 at 2 p.m. Interment was in the Palestine cemetery.
