Mason City--Mrs. Arthur (Maude A.) Knopf, 85, of Eldora, formerly of Mason City, died Thursday (Jan. 7 1993) at Valley View Nursing Home, Eldora. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 209 Second St. N.E.. The Rev. Jerry Oakland of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday until time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to First United Methodist Church.

Maude A. Knopf was born Oct. 2, 1907, at Goodell, Iowa. Survivors include two nieces, Dawn Jessee, Carlsgad, Calif., and Lani Smith, Oceanside Calif.; and two nephews, Robert Houghton, State Center, and Denny Houghton, Roland. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister.
