Gustave Adolph Schutt was born in Sttine, Germany, and passed away at his home in Wall Lake township, March 23, 1924. He came to America with his parents at the age of seven. The family lived in Wisconsin a few years and then came to Wright County, settling in Wall Lake township where the deceased lived continuously until the time of his death. He was married at Clarion, May 11, 1892, to Miss Maggie Meyers.

Mr. Schutt had been ailing the past two years with heart trouble, but the end came quite unexpectedly. HE was able to converse with his family and friends until the very last. He had always been a very faithful and loving father and will be sorely missed in the family circle.

He never mingled much, in society, but was a great lover of his home and family. He would spend hours in pleasant and helpful conversation with neighbors and many have come to him for council and condolence. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith when a child, from which church he had never severed his relationship.

He leaves to mourn his loss a faithful and loving wife and nine children, John, Lillian, Frederick, Henry, Katie, Wilbur, Glen, Clara and Goldie, all of whom are living at home, also by four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home conducted by Rev. W.N. Bump of Galt. Interment was in the Clarion Evergreen cemetery.

We wish to thank our neighbors and friends for the many acts of kindness shown us at the time of the death of our husband and father and also for the floral offerings.

Mrs. G.A. Schutt and family
