Warren Albert Coy, son of William and May Collins Coy was born on September 8, 1896 on a farm near Britt Iowa. He passed away at the Golden Acres Nursing Home in Dows, Iowa on Monday afternoon, September 16, 1974 at the age of 78 years and 8 days. He attended the Hardin County Schools and was never married. Warren farmed for many years in the Alden-Popejoy area. He was a custodian at the Wilson Hotel in Webster City for 20 years. He had lived in Alden the past 4 years and had been in the nursing home the past six years. He was a 50 year member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge at Iowa Falls. He is survived by two sisters: Mrs. J. E. (Matilda) Easton of Belmond; Mrs. W. R. Coy of Iowa Falls. 3 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
