December 14, 1961Eldon Pletcher Dies Saturday
Eldon Irving Fletcher, 46. RFD 3, Clarion, died late Saturday night at Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge. Pletcher had been admitted to the hospital on Nov. 20. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Methodist church in Eagle Grove with the Rev. Lyle Lieder officiating. The Sacquety-Sandvig Funeral home of Eagle Grove is in charge of arrangements. Pletcher is survived by his wife. Dorothy, three children. Richard, of Cedar Falls, Ronnie and Jean of Clarion. He is also survived by six sisters They are Mrs. Harry Kolbeck, Webster City; Mrs. Clair Bosworth, Webster City; Mrs. Edwin Ammonsson [Amosson]; Mrs. William Marrs, Mrs. Eva Peyton and Mrs. Edward Laurisch all of Chicago. He was preceded in death by another sister. Geneva. Also surviving Fletcher are his his parents. Mr. and Mrs Ralph L. Pletcher, of Webster City. Pletcher is a life time resident of Wright county and was a farmer in the Eagle Grove area.
