Betty E. Lackore, 79, Clear Lake, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa. According to her wishes her body has been cremated. A private family service will be at a later date. Betty is survived by her three daughters, Lesley Lackore, Ames, Iowa, Joleen Smith and her husband, Kevin, Belmond, Iowa and Cheryl Garrett and her husband, Mark, Clear Lake; three grandchildren, Abbie Smith, Claire Smith and Brent Lackore. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and one sister. Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
