Last rites for Mrs. James Deimerly

Funeral services for Mrs. James Deimerly, 52, were held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in the Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor H. W. Schiller officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Deimerly died Sunday afternoon at Trinity East Hospital, Fort Dodge. She had been ill and hospitalized the last few weeks. She is survived by her husband, one son James of Eagle Grove and four daughters, Carol of Kirkland, Wash., Mrs. Jerry Timmerman, Mrs. Kevin Anderson, and Miss Janice Deimerly all of Eagle Grove.

MABEL LOUISE DEIMERLY

Mabel Louise Hanson was born in Eagle Grove on June 29, 1921 to Martin and Clara Larson Hanson. She was baptized into the triune faith at Eagle Grove Evangelical Luther Church on Sept. 4, 1921 by Pastor T. J. Severtson. On June 14, 1936 she renewed her baptismal covenant thought the rite of confirmation at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. T. J. Severtson officiating. She died on September 30, 1973 at Trinity East Hospital, Fort Dodge, after reaching the age of 52 years, 3 months and 1 day. Mabel attended the Eagle Grove schools. She was united in marriage to James Deimerly of Clarion on February 19, 1941 at St. John's Catholic Church, Clarion. They farmed near Clarion for six years before moving to Eagle Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Albert; and one sister, Florence. Those who moUrn her departure are her husband; one son, James of Eagle Grove; four daughters; Carol of Kirkland, Wash., (Joyce) Mrs. Jerry Timmerman, (Jane) Mrs. Kevin Anderson, and Miss Janice of Eagle Grove; two brothers:Otto Hanson of Fort Dodge and Herman Hanson, LuVerne; three sisters; Mrs. Savina Knutson and Mrs. Agnes Ditzenberger, Fort Dodge; and Mrs. Elsie Clark, Kirkland, Wash. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on October 3, 1973 at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. H. W. Schiller. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
