Martin Hanson Rites Friday

Martin Hanson, 80, died Tuesday night at the Bludnick Nursing Home on North Garfield Ave. where he had been a patient for about three weeks. Mr. Hanson had been in failing health for the past year. At the present time his wife is a patient in the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Dodge being treated for pneumonia. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in charge of Rev. Kenneth Torvik. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hanson is survived by his wife, four sons and three daughters, Mrs. Osmund Knutson, Albert and Otto Hanson of Fort Dodge; Herman of LuVerne; Mrs. Agnes Ripley of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Thos. Clark, Redmond, Wash.; and Mrs. James Deimerly of Eagle Grove. Other survivors are 21 grandchildren; one brother Lant Hanson of Missouri and one sister Lottie Miller of Oakland, Calif.

Martin Hanson Rites Friday at Eagle Grove

Eagle Grove- Funeral services for Martin M. Hanson, 82, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev.Kenneth R. Torvik officiating. Burial will be in the Eagle Grove Cemetery with the Sacquety funeral home in charge. Mr. Hanson died Tuesday about 8 p.m. at his home after a year's illness. Surviving are his wife; and seven children, Albert Hanson, Otto Hanson and Mrs. Osmund Knudson, all of Fort Dodge, Herman Hanson of Livermore, Mrs. Agnes Ripley and Mrs. Thomas Clark of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. James Deimerly of Eagle Grove. Other survivors are a number of grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
