Sadie Shauver Trueblood

Local relatives have learned of the death of Jay County native Mrs. Sadie Trueblood, 79, many years a resident of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Mrs. Trueblood died early today after being in failing health several months. The daughter of William and Ann E. (Bibler) Shauver, she was born Mar. 28, 1887, in Wayne Township. In June, 1908, she was married to Edison [Addison] Trueblood, who died Mar. 28, 1943. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eldridge (Myrtle) Hammon, Lehigh, Iowa, and Mrs. Edna C. Larson, Britt, Iowa; three sons, Paul E. Trueblood, Lehigh, Iowa, and Samuel and Ralph Trueblood, both Fort Dodge, Iowa; three brothers, Noah Shauver, Noble Township; James Shauver, Madiosn Township, and Bert Shauver, Fort Wayne.
