Alice M. Simpson, 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday, September 19, 2005, in her home. She was a self-employed seamstress and in her retirement she volunteered at her church, Bethel Lutheran, making quilts for their overseas missions program. She enjoyed her card club for many years. Alice is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard Simpson; children, Thomas (Arlene) Schroder, James (Diane) Schroder, Dennis (DiAnna) Schroder, Glenn (Karen) Schroder, Donna Harrison and Rex (Sandy) Simpson; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Lucille Stuart, Joyce Shattuck and Juanita Franklin and her brothers, Harold and Lyle Rausch. Friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. on Friday, September 23rd from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1853 South Ave. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
