J. E. Miller, 84, Buried at Rowan

J. E. Miller, 84, a resident of the Rowan community most of his life, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs Gordon Thomas, 516 Second st. S.E., Saturday night. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Rowan Methodist church, Rev C Wilbur Egeland officiating, assisted by Rev. V. V. Schuldt, pastor of the Clarion Methodist church Burial was in the Rowan cemetery. He suffered a broken hip several months ago, and death was due to a stroke which he suffered a few days ago.
