Find Woolstock Man Dead Monday

WOOLSTOCK—Last rites were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Foster's funeral home in Webster City for Henry Schoenenberger, 76, a longtime resident of this vicinity. Mr. Schoenenberger was found dead early Monday morning in the yard of his farm home near Woolstock by his nephew, Raynard Nichols who had come to do the morning chores. Henry Schoenenberger, son of Louis and Emilie Schoenenberger, was born in Serena, Ill., in 1875. He moved here with his parents in 1887, the family settling on a farm east of Woolstock. Mr. Schoenenberger bought a farm a quarter mile from, his parents farm where he spent the remainder of his life. Mr. Schoenenberger was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers, of which, the last, Mrs. Walter Claude died last fall. He is survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
