Funeral services for Arnold Christians, 68, former teacher at Western Christian High school, Hull, were held in Grand Rapids, Mich., October 6. He died October 3, 1971 at Grand Rapids.

Mr. Christians moved as a child from Kanawha, IA., to Edgerton, Minn. He was married to Verbena Geerdes at Edgerton July 9, 1936. He taught in the Edgerton Christian school, Western Christian high school, and Sheldon Christian school before moving to Grand Rapids. He retired three years ago. Surviving are his wife, four sons, Howard, Clifford, Robert and Douglas and one daughter, Cheryl, all of Grand Rapids; two brothers, George and Henry both of Edgerton and five sisters, Mrs. Peter Walhof and Mrs. Lawrence Zwart of Edgerton, Mrs. Peter De Peerter of California, Mrs. Cornie Prins of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Les Krosschell of Eagle River, Wisc.
