KANAWHA, IA - Bertha J. Smidt, 89, of Woden died Thursday (April 8, 2010) at Westview Care Center in Britt. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, April 12, at Woden Christian Reformed Church, 205 290th St., Woden, with Pastors Joel DeBoer, Glenn Wilson and Judy Junkermier officiating. Burial will be in Woden Christian Reformed Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at the Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center St. W in Britt, and continue one hour prior to services at the church. Ewing Funeral Chapel.
