Services Held for L B Tate at Eagle Grove

EAGLE GROVE, IA —Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Louis B. Tate, 79, who died at his home in Eagle Grove. Services were conducted by the Rev. Charles Conger at the Goldfield Church of Christ. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Mr. Tate, who has spent his entire life in the Goldfield and Eagle Grove community, was preceded in death two years ago by his wife. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Grace Shadle of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Dorothy Thompson of Oelwein and one son, Virgil Tate, of Renwick; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
