Funeral Services Held for Eagle Grove Woman

Eagle Grove, September 16: Services for Mrs. F. M. Doyen, 70, were held at her late residence on Sunday afternoon, and at the East Side Lutheran Church, the services being in charge of the Rev. T. J. Severtson, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. P. Ljostvelt of the West Side church. Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery by Kubitschek & Kastler.

Mrs. Doyen, whose maiden name was Johannah Gramberg, was born in Germany, coming to America in 1885, locating in Parkersburg, Iowa, and in September, of that year was married to F.M. Doyen: They moved to Eagle Grove in 1913, which has been their. home ever since. Besides the husband she is survived by five daughters: Mrs; Anna Younie of Storm Lake; Mrs. Margaret Hall, Eagle Grove;. Mrs. Louise Fitzpatrick, Los Angeies, Cal,; Mrs. Minnie Crombie, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Mrs. Eleanor Gunderson, Norway, Iowa. Also one son, George Doyen, Laurens, Iowa, and 12 grandchildren.
