Mrs. Esther Carlson, aged 83, of 500 Brookside Drive, widow of Arthur Carlson, died Tuesday. She was born in Dows, Ia., daughter of the late Fleming and Emma Butler Evans, and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Survivors are two nieces, Shirley Snivley and Naomi Huffman of Rockford, Ill. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Roselawn Memorial Park by Rev. J. Allen Smith. Burial will be by Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth. Memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church.
