It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Conrad "Dutch" Lynn Knutson, 73, March 12, 2010. Dutch passed peacefully at home, with his wife, Mary Lou, at his side. Dutch was born May 10, 1936, in Goldfield, Iowa, the son of Helen and Percival Knutson. After the death of his mother at an early age, Dutch was raised by his stepmother, Ruth Little Knutson. Dutch later served proudly in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. He had a passion for airplanes, cooking, and his "Honey bunny", Mary Lou. Dutch spent many years working at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. He also entertained his many stepchildren and grandchildren over the years. "Grandpa Dutch" is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; sisters, Janyce Wright and Paulette Boger; and brother, Edmond Knutson. Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to University UMC.
