The family of Army Veteran Dean William Christopher has honored the Patriot Guard Riders by requesting our presence to stand in Silent Honor during services with Military Honors at Florida National Cemetery near Bushnell, Florida on Tuesday 29 Dec 09 at 1300 hrs.

Mr. Christopher, born 08 Jan 1936 in Vincent, Iowa, passed away on 14 Dec 2009 in Deland, Fl. Mr. Christopher entered the Army on 11 Jan 1953 in Ft Dodge, Iowa and took Basic at Ft. Leonard Wood Mo. His last duty station prior to discharge from the Army was at Ft. Dix, NJ. He was a E3 upon discharge. He loved his military time and watched a lot of military movies. Dean was a Christian he was brought up on an Iowa Farm. Dean married Joyce in 1963 lived in Ft Dodge, Iowa until 1972 when they moved to Winter Park Fl. They had two Sons, Douglas William and Dennis Wayne Christopher. They lost Douglas in 1974 at the age of 9. Dean is survived by his brother Merle of Ft. Dodge, Iowa and his son Dennis Wayne (Dina) and Grandson Dakoda, of S. Daytona Fl. and Costa Rica, Central America.
