CLINTON, Iowa - Services for Ruth E. Haymond, 95, of Clinton, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Haymond died Friday at Bluff Terrace Nursing Home, Clinton. She taught school in rural Wright County. Ruth Haring married Paul Haymond in 1923 in Clarion. He died in 1973. She attended the former Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls.
She was a former member of First United Methodist Church, Clinton. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, playing cards and traveling. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Survivors include brothers, Vernal Haring, Clinton, and Lyle Haring, DeWitt.
