Quad City Times, Davenport, IowaDAVENPORT — Services for Wilma H. Campbell-Hopphan, 81, of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Campbell-Hopphan died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1997, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. Wilma Gregerson was born July 28, 1916, in Renwick, Iowa, to Henry and Carrie Sandvold Gregerson. She married John F. Campbell on Aug. 3, 1936, in Humboldt. He died Feb. 1, 1979. She married Elmer Hopphan on Jan. 22, 1981, in Davenport. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Davenport, the American Legion Auxiliary, Walcott; and the Telephone Pioneers. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Davenport, or Valley Shelter Home.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Charles Forsman, Charlottesville, Va.; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Shirley Campbell, Spring Hill, Fla., David and Paula Campbell, Loomis, Calif., and Jerry and Donna Campbell, Abilene, Texas; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Betty Hopphan, Carrollton, Texas, and Ronald and Barbara Hopphan, Wilton; and a sister, Gladys Hansen, Burlington.
